Elementary, where the foundation is built.

Cornerstone’s Lower School (K-5) is a is a nurturing place where your child will daily encounter people who love Jesus Christ.  We understand that every student has been gifted by God! And you as a parent, will have the opportunity to be an integral part of your student’s education through serving in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, special events, attending Chapel each week, and volunteering with our lunch program.

ELEMENTARY (LOWER) SCHOOL 

Your child will receive a strong foundation in basic skills.  Our elementary curriculum stresses mastery in reading, writing, comprehension, problem solving, study skills and critical thinking.  The academic program will challenge your child’s abilities and meet his or her needs.

Small class sizes allow individualized attention for your child and the opportunity to make many friends – all who will know him or her by name!  Students at CCA are important as individuals, and they quickly become part of the CCA family.

Art, Library, PE, Music, Spanish and Technology are a part of each grade’s curriculum.  A highlight of the week, Chapel is held with area pastors who bring an age-appropriate message.  Enrichment opportunities also abound in every grade, from the second grade music programs to the fifth grade’s Outdoor Education trip to Wisconsin.
